Lauren Bush Lauren is an entrepreneur and social innovator, serving as CEO and co-founder of FEED Projects, an impact-driven lifestyle brand focused on addressing global hunger and food insecurity. Prior to her work in social enterprise, Bush Lauren established a career in the fashion industry as a model and designer, appearing on the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. She modeled for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, and designers Gai Mattiolo and Isaac Mizrahi. Bush Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and a certificate in photography from Princeton University.

Bush Lauren traveled internationally as an honorary student spokesperson for the United Nations World Food Programme, where she gained firsthand experience with issues related to hunger and poverty. She contributed to the launch of the Universities Fighting Hunger initiative and visited countries including Guatemala, Cambodia, Lesotho, Sri Lanka, Chad, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, and Honduras to observe the impact of school meal programs and other hunger relief efforts.

Inspired by these experiences, Bush Lauren designed the initial "FEED 1" bag, which supports school meal programs through the World Food Programme. She founded FEED Projects to sell FEED bags and co-founded the FEED Foundation to expand the organization's impact in combating hunger. FEED operates by incorporating a set donation into the cost of each product, with the impact of each purchase signified by a stenciled number. Since its founding, FEED has helped provide millions of school meals globally and in the United States. The organization has also supported nutrition programs through partnerships with UNICEF, DonorsChoose.org, and companies such as Disney, Pottery Barn, Clarins, Godiva, Whole Foods Market, Gap, TOMS, Amazon, DKNY, HSN, Bergdorf Goodman, Links of London, and Judith Leiber.

Bush Lauren's work in social entrepreneurship has been recognized by Fortune, Inc., Forbes, and Crain's, and she has received honors including the Accessories Council Humanitarian Award, the Stevie Award for Best Non-Profit Executive, the Fashion Group International Humanitarian Award, the Women in Communications Award, the Maxwell School's Moynihan Spirit of Public Service Award, and the Advocacy Award from the World of Children Award. She was also named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and the first National Lady Godiva Honoree of the Lady Godiva Program.

Bush Lauren resides in New York City and serves on the board of directors for the Food Bank for NYC. She is recognized for her work in conscious consumerism, social entrepreneurship, and global hunger, demonstrating the potential for business to drive humanitarian impact.
