She is a graduate of Cornell University Class '93, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Industrial and Labor Relations, and Columbia University, Class '99, where she earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology.

She has been a 20-time published author and publisher since 2000, a mental health advocate since 1997, and an entrepreneur since 1975.
