Lady Charmaine Day is a pastor, global keynote speaker, faith-based mental health reform architect, executive advisor, organizational psychology professional, 20x published author, mental health advocate, documentary filmmaker, media creator, entrepreneur, and brand creator.

For nearly three decades, Lady Charmaine has used her voice, education, professional experience, faith, lived experience, and creativity to help people and institutions move toward greater wellness, resilience, leadership, transformation, and purpose. Her work is grounded in one powerful philosophy: TOTAL MIND. TOTAL BODY. TOTAL SPIRIT.

EDUCATION & EARLY LEADERSHIP

Raised in Roosevelt, New York, Lady Charmaine demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and leadership from an early age. She graduated #3 in her high school graduating class and was elected Senior Class President. She was also selected as Homecoming Queen, served as Yearbook Editor, and was the school's Public Announcer.

Her early leadership experiences established a pattern that would continue throughout her life: she did not simply participate—she led.

Lady Charmaine went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and later earned a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Throughout her academic career, she distinguished herself through leadership, scholarship, and service. Her honors include Cornell Tradition Fellow, Quill and Dagger, Kappa Delta Pi, and Phi Delta Kappa.

Her education in organizational psychology and industrial and labor relations became an important foundation for the work she would later do in leadership, organizational culture, mental wellness, institutional transformation, and human development.

PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP

Before dedicating herself fully to ministry, advocacy, speaking, and entrepreneurship, Lady Charmaine developed an extensive Executive Human Resources and Consulting career spanning corporate, nonprofit, healthcare, communications, education, and community organizations.

Her professional experience includes work with Fortune 50 organizations such as Philip Morris, Pfizer, Nabisco, Ingersoll-Rand, Porter Novelli, and Ketchum-Stromberg Consulting, as well as leadership positions and professional service with Lighthouse International, The Fortune Society, Children's Television Workshop (Sesame Street), North General Hospital, and 32BJSEIU.

These experiences gave Lady Charmaine a unique understanding of people, organizations, leadership, workplace culture, communication, and institutional systems. Today, she brings that experience together with her faith, mental-health advocacy, education, and lived experience to help individuals and institutions create meaningful and sustainable transformation.

FAITH, MINISTRY & MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY

Lady Charmaine's professional journey eventually expanded into a lifelong commitment to faith-based ministry and mental health advocacy.

In 2008, she founded Unlimited Help Ministry, an online ministry dedicated to providing faith, encouragement, wisdom, emotional wellness resources, and spiritual support to people around the world. Her ministry reflects her belief that faith and mental wellness can work together and that people deserve support for their total mind, body, and spirit.

Lady Charmaine's mental-health advocacy is also deeply personal. At 26 years old, she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type 1. Rather than allowing her diagnosis to define the boundaries of her life, she chose to use her lived experience to help others understand mental health, challenge stigma, and recognize the possibility of recovery, resilience, and purpose.

NAMI & MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY

From 2008 through 2025, Lady Charmaine was actively involved with NAMI NYC Metro, serving in multiple capacities including:

• In Our Own Voice Presenter & Statewide Trainer
• Ending the Silence Lead Presenter for parents, students, and staff and Statewide Trainer
• Hope For Recovery Trainer

Her advocacy and public education work earned her numerous honors and recognitions.

In 2011, she was inducted into the NAMI Hall of Fame.

In 2015, she received the NAMI NYS Media Award for her contributions to mental-health awareness through public speaking, podcasting, and media.

In 2022, she was named NAMI NYC Volunteer of the Year.

In 2024, she began serving as a Board Member of the Bureau of Mental Health Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, serving through 2026.

In 2025, she was recognized by the Evergreen Awards as the ""Best Mental Health Awareness Advocate in New York."

Through her advocacy, Lady Charmaine has worked to replace shame and silence surrounding mental illness with education, compassion, understanding, hope, and action.

AUTHOR, SPEAKER & MEDIA CREATOR

Lady Charmaine is a 20x Published Author whose work explores faith, mental health, personal transformation, wisdom, and lived experience.

Her books include:

"Do I Look Bipolar?": A deeply personal account of her mental-health journey featuring practical mind, body, and spirit wellness strategies.

"Unlimited Help: A Book of Wisdom": A collection of God-inspired teachings, wisdom, encouragement, and notes shared through Unlimited Help Ministry.

"Taboo Talk: Poetry From My Soul": A collection exploring personal experiences, mental health, emotions, and life through poetry.

Her work as an author was recognized in 2009 when she was inducted into the Barnes & Noble Hall of Fame for outstanding book sales. Lady Charmaine is also the creator and host of "Taboo Talk,' a media platform created to have the conversations that people often consider too uncomfortable, personal, or ""taboo"" to discuss. Taboo Talk has evolved through multiple media formats, including television, internet radio, and video podcasting.

She is also the creator of the documentary "Size 7 1/2: Walk A Mile In My Shoes," a project created to encourage greater understanding of mental illness, lived experience, and the importance of empathy.

MUSIC, CREATIVITY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Lady Charmaine is not limited to one form of expression. Her creativity extends into music, fashion, footwear, accessories, media, publishing, ministry, and entrepreneurship.

In 2022, she launched the Black Ivy Brand, a clothing, footwear, and accessories brand celebrating Black Ivy League graduates and the excellence, achievement, and legacy associated with the Black Ivy experience.

That same year, she released the contemporary gospel track: "The LCD Remix" in collaboration with JB aka Dirty Moses. In 2025, Lady Charmaine released her second a cappella single, "Manic Melody."

She also expanded her fashion and lifestyle portfolio by creating three additional brands of clothing, footwear and accessories called: G.I.R.S.H., #BLESSED and Lady Day. Through her brands, Lady Charmaine combines fashion, faith, confidence, wellness, creativity, individuality, and purpose to create products designed to inspire people in everyday life.
