Kyle Sonlin

Kyle Sonlin is a blockchain entrepreneur, investor, and author specializing in the tokenization of finance and capital markets innovation. Sonlin co-founded Security Token Group during his college years, gaining experience in blockchain technology and leading a team of nearly 30 individuals.

As CEO of Security Token Market, Sonlin developed an ecosystem for security token offerings, attracting hundreds of thousands of users and maintaining a private market index exceeding $25 billion in tokenized assets. The platform compiles market data from more than 100 global exchanges. Sonlin has also served as CEO of Global Settlement, a blockchain and tokenization firm focused on compliant issuance of stablecoins and tokenized commodities across multiple blockchains. The firm has facilitated significant deals, including a $75 million Latin American oil and gas acquisition using tokenized debt, equity, and stablecoin settlements through its GSX Protocol. Sonlin is a general partner of Outliers Fund and Aurum Fund, both of which focus on investments in the crypto industry.

Sonlin co-authored "Blockchain Explained: Your Ultimate Guide to the Tokenization of Finance," a guide that distills years of experience and insights from industry professionals, regulators, and academics. The book is used as course material at universities including University of Miami and UCLA, serving as a resource for students and financial professionals on blockchain applications in business and banking.

Sonlin has been invited to speak at universities, Fortune 500 companies, and international conferences, including lectures at Stanford University, University of Miami Herbert Business School, and Florida International University Graduate Law School. He is a founding member or investor in nearly 10 businesses and coaches startups on business models, go-to-market strategies, and securing venture capital funding.

Outside his professional work, Sonlin is the youngest board member in the history of Camillus House, a Miami nonprofit addressing homelessness, hunger, poverty, and substance abuse. He has contributed to charitable initiatives for cancer, entrepreneurship, and food insecurity, including participation in Jack Butcher's 100 Meals NFT series benefiting Feeding America.
