Korey Dropkin

Korey Dropkin, a prominent figure in the world of American curling, currently leads his own team. He holds numerous accolades under his belt, including wins at the World Mixed Doubles Championships, the Pan Continental Curling Championships, and the United States Men's Curling Championships in 2021 and 2025. Dropkin's career has also seen him grace the World Men's Curling Championships three times (2019, 2022, and 2025) and the World Mixed Doubles Championships four times (2015, 2018, 2023, 2025).

Alongside Sarah Anderson, Dropkin triumphed in the United States Mixed Doubles Championship in 2015 and 2018. He has also represented the United States on an international platform, winning a bronze medal in the mixed doubles event at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, where he partnered with Marina Verenich of Russia. His current mixed doubles partner is Cory Thiesse, with whom he won the 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, securing the USA's first world mixed doubles gold medal. The pair also won the silver medal at the 2024 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship and qualified for the 2025 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, ultimately securing a spot in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Dropkin's contribution to the sport extends beyond his personal achievements. Apart from his curling career, Dropkin is also a realtor and investor in Duluth, Minnesota. He is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota Duluth and continues to compete in men's, mixed doubles, and mixed team curling events, marking his presence at national and world championships.
