Kodi Lee

Kodi Lee is an American singer-songwriter and pianist known for his work in contemporary music and for being an autistic savant. Lee was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, which left him legally blind, and was diagnosed with autism as a child. Despite these challenges, he has developed a unique musical ability characterized by perfect pitch and an audio-photographic memory, allowing him to recall music after a single listen.

Lee gained national recognition as the winner of Season 14 of "America's Got Talent," becoming the show's first blind and autistic musician to win the competition. His audition performance of Leon Russell's "A Song for You" received a standing ovation from all four judges and the audience, and Gabrielle Union pressed the Golden Buzzer, advancing him directly to the live shows. Lee ultimately won the $1 million prize and secured a residency in the AGT Live Show in Las Vegas. His audition video quickly amassed over 300 million views online.

Lee is the first blind contestant and the first known contestant with autism to reach the finals on "America's Got Talent." His success on the show led to high-profile collaborations, including a duet with H.E.R. on "Hold On" and a performance of "Don't Stop Believin'" with Teddy Swims and Neal Schon of Journey. Lee has also competed in "America's Got Talent: All-Stars" and "America's Got Talent: Fantasy League," and headlined "America's Got Talent Presents Superstars Live" at the Luxor Theater in Las Vegas.

In addition to his television appearances, Lee has established himself as a recording artist and live performer. He collaborated with Colin Hay on the single "Hello World," following his first original release, "Miracle." Lee released his debut album, "Exactly As I Am," which explores themes such as loss, grief, mental health, friendships, social equality, family, and love, reflecting his personal experiences with judgment and marginalization. He has performed at major events, including Tony Robbins' birthday celebration and the NFL Draft, and has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
