Kim Myles

Kim Myles is a television host, interior designer, executive producer, and cannabis advocate whose career encompasses a range of creative and media pursuits. While working as a stylist at Insitu, a salon in Manhattan's Gramercy Park neighborhood, Myles entered HGTV's "Design Star" competition, motivated by a passion for home renovation on a budget. Her participation in "HGTV Star" included a renovated Hawaii hotel suite that secured her victory.

A self-taught artist and designer, Myles is known for focusing her designs on the needs and personalities of the people who will inhabit the space, rather than adhering to a signature style. She gained national recognition as the winner of HGTV's "Design Star" Season 2 and went on to host her own show, "Myles of Style," for three seasons. "Myles of Style" highlighted her creativity and approach to interior design, which was first seen on "Design Star." Myles continued her television career as a host and designer on shows such as "HGTV'd" and "America's Biggest Yard Sale." She has developed best-selling DIY tools and collaborated with entertainment and corporate partners including WBD, HGTV, OWN, Better Homes & Gardens, and Chevrolet. Myles is also a Daytime Emmy Award winner.

Myles created, executive produced, and starred in "High Design" on Discovery+, a cannabis dispensary makeover show that brought together the worlds of television makeover and cannabis culture. She developed the concept for "High Design" after spending a year working in the cannabis industry to gain firsthand experience. Myles is a founding member of the Cannabis Media Council, an organization dedicated to using advertising and mainstream media to destigmatize cannabis and present it authentically.

Her show "Battle on the Mountain" aired on HGTV, featuring teams mentored by home experts, including Myles from "Design Star: Next Gen," competing to upgrade mountainside homes in Breckenridge, Colorado. She also appeared on HGTV's "Battle of the Bling." Myles' work has been featured in The New York Times, Elle Decor, Apartment Therapy, Better Homes & Gardens, Essence, and People. With a career spanning nearly two decades in design television, Myles has established herself as a prominent figure in interior design, lifestyle media, and cannabis advocacy.
