Kevin Kreider

Kevin Kreider is a Korean American actor, model, entrepreneur, and advocate recognized for his role as a cast member on Netflix's "Bling Empire," the first American reality television series featuring a main cast of East and Southeast Asian descent. In the show's first season, Kreider was known for his genuine reactions to the cast's lavish lifestyles, and he appeared throughout all three seasons. His journey from newcomer to entrepreneur resonated with audiences worldwide, contributing to conversations around Asian American representation in entertainment.

Kreider began his career as a fitness model in New York City, appearing in publications such as Men's Health and Men's Fitness, and representing brands including Peloton, Gillette, and Abercrombie & Fitch. He was the first Asian American model to greet guests shirtless at Abercrombie & Fitch's Fifth Avenue flagship. Kreider's experiences in the modeling industry are chronicled in the documentary "The Ugly Model."

After being diagnosed with alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition causing temporary hair loss, Kreider chose sobriety and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting. He delivered a TEDx Talk on redefining Asian masculinity, establishing himself as a public voice on issues of identity and representation.

Kreider expanded his career with an appearance on Peacock's "The Traitors" Season 2, which received critical acclaim and won four Emmy Awards, including one for Best Cast. He transitioned into acting, securing leading roles in "Trüebadour," produced by Jamie Lee Curtis, and "Asian Persuasion," a Filipino American romantic comedy produced by Jhett Tolentino. Kreider also played Uno in "Hello, Love, Again" alongside Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo, a film produced by ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Pictures that became the highest-grossing film in the Philippines.

Following his work on "Bling Empire" and "Asian Persuasion," Kreider launched Asian Lead Love Stories (ALLS) Production, produced a 50-episode webtoon, and supported the development of reality shows. He founded Sans by Taejin Beverage Inc., an Asian-themed, alcohol-alternative health beverage infused with adaptogens, promoting sober lifestyles. Kreider also secured a book deal with Beacon Press for "The Yellow Perspective: An Asian Man's Reckoning with Masculinity and Reinvention," which explores masculinity, emasculation, and mental health through his personal experiences.

A mental health advocate, Kreider speaks with organizations such as TBH, focusing on college students' and Asian American and Pacific Islanders' mental health. His keynotes address resilience, reinvention, and overcoming cultural and personal barriers. Beyond television and film, Kreider continues to build his career as a model, actor, entrepreneur, comic book author, and advocate for Asian representation in media.
