Kelly Colon

Kelly Colón is a speaker, professor, consultant, and author specializing in neurodiversity and workplace inclusion. With more than 12 years of experience in educational and professional environments, Colón is the founder of Eledex Consulting LLC, where she advances cognitive diversity and supports Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives, particularly related to neurodiversity. Known as The Neurospicy Professor, Colón is an executive function and ADHD coach, educator, and neurodiversity advocate focused on designing systems that accommodate diverse cognitive needs in the workplace.

Colón’s expertise in organizational and occupational behavior, informed by her personal experience as a neurodivergent individual and parent, shapes her approach to workshops, keynotes, and one-on-one coaching. Diagnosed with ADHD later in life and a parent to four neurodivergent children, Colón offers coaching, advocacy, training, and workshops to support neurodivergent individuals in professional settings. Her perspective integrates lived experience with professional knowledge, providing practical strategies for fostering inclusion and supporting cognitive diversity across industries.

Colón has taught at institutions including Boston University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Cambridge College, and Endicott College, educating students from undergraduate to continuing education levels. Her background in facilities, operations, construction, real estate, and design informs her mission at Eledex Consulting to promote inclusive environments that recognize and celebrate cognitive diversity. Through her Substack platform, "The Neurospicy Professor," Colón addresses ADHD, anxiety, and neurodivergent life, offering education and advocacy to challenge systemic barriers.

She is a contributor to Work Design Magazine, where she examines topics such as the internship model’s impact on the neurodivergent community and strategies for supporting neurodivergent graduates during the hiring process.
