Kellie Maloney, formerly Frank Maloney, the boxing promoter who went head to head with legendary promotor Don King, and who also bought Lennox Lewis to victory against Mike Tyson in 2002, had a highly successful career as a boxing promoter. He was part of the fight, which was at the time the highest grossing event in pay-per-view history, generating $106.9million from 1.95million buys in the US.
Frank Maloney was a huge influence in a male dominated industry and has recently took the brave decision to reveal that she is now living as a woman and has already taken great strides in promoting a greater awareness and understanding of transgender issues.
Kellie came out to the public in August 2014 and has since been making headlines in the UK and starring in Celebrity Big Brother. Fox Sports America aired a short documentary on Kellie titled No Going Back.
Kellie’s autobiography Frankly Kellie was published in 2015.
