Katie L. Greer

Katie L. Greer is a nationally recognized internet safety expert, keynote speaker, and CEO of KL Greer Consulting. Greer's career centers on the mission of making the digital world safer for people of all ages. Her professional journey began at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where, as director of internet safety, she was involved in developing one of the first internet safety programs. After leaving the Attorney General's Office, Greer worked as an intelligence analyst for the Massachusetts State Police, assigned to the Missing Children Clearinghouse, and later became outreach coordinator for the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. This law enforcement background provides her with a grounded perspective on online safety and digital risk management.

Responding to increasing demand for technology and internet safety education, Greer established her consulting business, delivering presentations for grades K–12 and tailoring content to the developmental and emotional needs of each age group. She also instructs parents, teachers, administrators, and law enforcement officials on internet safety, technology responsibility, and digital citizenship. Greer frequently works with Fortune 500 companies, offering educational workshops, trainings, and consultations on cybersecurity and online safety.

Greer serves as an advisory board member for The Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe), a nonprofit alliance focused on creating a safe and positive online experience for youth.
