Justin Chon

Justin Chon is an accomplished American writer, director, and actor. Over the years, Chon has directed a series of critically acclaimed films, including Gook, Ms. Purple, and Blue Bayou, in which he also stars opposite Alicia Vikander. Blue Bayou premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim.

As a filmmaker, Chon made a significant impact with his film Gook, earning the NEXT Audience Award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. His second film, Ms. Purple, also made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in the U.S. Dramatic Competition. His directing skills have not gone unnoticed, as he recently won a 2022 Peabody Award in the category of Entertainment for his directorial contribution to "Pachinko."

Chon's acting career is equally impressive. Known worldwide for playing Eric Yorkie in all five installments of the Twilight franchise, he also gained fame from his role in the Disney Channel film Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. He has appeared in various other films and TV shows, including the TV series "Deception" and the film 21 & Over.

Apart from his film career, Chon co-owns the Attic, a chain of clothing stores. He is also a member of the K-pop parody group Boys Generally Asian and uses his YouTube channel to share vlogs and comedy videos.
