Josh Christina

Josh Christina is a Baltimore-based pianist, singer, and rock and roll revivalist known for dynamic live performances and a dedication to the roots of classic rock and boogie-woogie piano. Christina began playing piano at age 15 after seeing the Broadway show "Million Dollar Quartet" and discovering Jerry Lee Lewis, which inspired his path as a musician. He draws on a rich musical heritage from his family, including his father, a drummer; his mother, Baltimore-area singer Patti Christina; and his grandmother, a big band singer from the 1940s and 1950s. Christina's music bridges generational divides, blending traditional rock and roll with contemporary influences.

Christina's work attracted the attention of Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells, leading to recording sessions in Nashville that highlight the soul of classic rock and boogie-woogie. His album "Instincts," produced with Grammy-winning pianist Jon Carroll, showcases his command of the genre. The single "Kayla Ann" reached the top of several independent radio charts, and tracks such as "Old Piano" and "Rockstar" pay tribute to his musical influences. He made his television debut on Ireland's "Late Late Show" and has performed on major cruise lines including Viking, Celebrity, Princess, and MSC. "Piano Rock Through The Ages" has played to sold-out theaters across the Mid-Atlantic, highlighting Christina's commitment to preserving and evolving the piano rock tradition.
