Jordan Shapiro

Jordan Shapiro, PhD, is an American author and educator whose work focuses on the intersection of parenting, technology, and education. Shapiro's academic background includes archetypal psychology and phenomenology. He teaches philosophy at Temple University in the College of Liberal Arts and is core faculty in Temple University's Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies program, following research and authorship of a book on feminist fatherhood. Shapiro also serves as a senior fellow at The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and as a non-resident fellow at the Brookings Institution Center for Universal Education.

Shapiro gained public attention through his Forbes column, "Geek Philosophy," which covered global education, digital learning, and children's culture, reaching a wide international audience.
