Jonica BLU Booth is an American actress, rapper, and content creator recognized for her work in scripted television, reality TV, and digital media. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, Booth spent time in corporate America before transitioning to a career in entertainment. She relocated to Los Angeles after two years in Atlanta, where she participated in independent film projects and commercials, to pursue acting full time. In Los Angeles, Booth studied acting and stand-up comedy, applying the same dedication she had shown in athletics.

Booth first gained national attention as "Blu" on the twelfth season of Oxygen Network's reality series "Bad Girls Club." She later appeared in the finale episode of the fourteenth season and co-hosted the "Making it to the Mansion" casting special for the fifteenth season. Booth is best known for her role as Chastity in HBO Max's "Rap Sh!t." In Issa Rae's series, she portrays a stud known as the self-proclaimed Duke of Miami, a sex work manager whose life changes after meeting estranged high school friends Shawna and Mia, eventually becoming their rap group's manager.
