Jon Gruden

Jon Gruden is a prominent figure in NFL coaching, recognized for his preparation and offensive strategy. Gruden began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee and served as an offensive assistant at several collegiate football programs before joining the staff of the San Francisco 49ers. After a period at the University of Pittsburgh, the Green Bay Packers hired Gruden as wide receivers coach, and he later became offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. At age 34, Gruden became the youngest head coach in the NFL when he was hired by Raiders owner Al Davis.

During his first tenure with the Raiders, Gruden led the team to two consecutive division titles and an AFC Championship Game appearance. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers acquired Gruden from the Raiders in a major transaction involving $8 million and four draft picks. In his first season with the Buccaneers, Gruden guided the team to a 12-4 record, a first-place finish in the NFC South, and a Super Bowl victory. At age 39, he became the youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl at that time. Gruden received the Coach of the Year honor at the ESPY Awards and was recognized as Professional Coach of the Year at the Victor Awards.

Gruden's book, "Do You Love Football?! Winning with Heart, Passion, and Not Much Sleep," became a New York Times bestseller. He joined ESPN as an analyst for Monday Night Football and contributed analysis across ESPN platforms, earning multiple Sports Emmy nominations. Gruden also participated in ESPN's annual NFL Draft coverage, and his series "Gruden's QB Camp" became a staple of the network's football programming. He later returned as head coach of the Oakland Raiders. He has since produced several football shows with Barstool Sports, including "Gruden's QB Class," where he continues his quarterback film breakdowns ahead of each NFL Draft.
