John Haskell

John Haskell, known professionally as Dr. Revenue, is a sales and marketing consultant, entrepreneur, and professional speaker with a career spanning more than four decades. Haskell is an experienced entrepreneur and owner of an advertising and marketing consulting firm, offering business development and strategic insight to a wide range of clients. A graduate of Brown University with an MBA from Kellogg, Haskell is recognized for practical, results-driven approaches to business growth, sales strategy, and marketing planning.

Haskell created the Abbey Rents Furniture Division of Sara Lee Corp. and later founded The Professional Marketing Group, Inc. Through this full-service advertising agency and marketing consulting firm, he has developed more than 500 marketing and sales plans for client companies. The firm has served clients in industries such as sporting goods, building products, and service businesses including Bekins Moving and Storage and Retirement Inns of America. Haskell has contributed as a columnist for Los Angeles Business Journal and other industry publications.

As a professional speaker and seminar leader, Haskell has delivered marketing planning and business development programs to audiences across the United States and internationally. Sponsors including Inc. Magazine, Key Corp., Chevron Corporation, and Bell South have introduced entrepreneurs to Haskell's approach. His signature programs include the Dr. Revenue Marketing Planning Clinic, featuring the CAT-Scan, a 50-question business evaluation tool. Haskell's expertise in multiple-line selling led to his role as a retained consultant for the Electronics Representatives Association, where he pioneered the "Selling The System" program.
