Joe Schoendorf is an American venture capitalist and longtime Silicon Valley investor known for his influential role in backing major technology companies during the internet boom and beyond.
He is best recognized for his tenure at Accel Partners, where he served as a managing partner and helped guide investments in companies such as Facebook (now Meta), Google, and RealNetworks. His work at Accel contributed to the firm’s reputation as one of the most successful venture capital firms in Silicon Valley.
Before joining Accel, Schoendorf was a partner at Kleiner Perkins, another prominent VC firm, where he invested in early internet and enterprise technology startups.
