Joe Brumm

Joe Brumm is an Australian animator, director, and writer known as the creator of the animated series "Bluey." With a career spanning more than two decades, Brumm has become a prominent figure in children's entertainment, recognized for his approach to storytelling that emphasizes authenticity, humor, and emotional resonance. His early career included a decade in London, where he worked as a lead animator on series such as "Charlie and Lola," "Peppa Pig," and "Tinga Tinga Tales," experiences that influenced his creative direction and technical skills.

After returning to Australia, Brumm founded Studio Joho, an animation studio that developed projects for clients including College Humor, Viacom, and ABC. Under his leadership, Studio Joho produced original works such as the web series "Dan The Man," which was later adapted into a mobile game with significant download numbers. Brumm's short films, including "The Meek," have received international awards, highlighting his contributions to animation and storytelling.

"Bluey," produced by Ludo Studio, has achieved global recognition for its portrayal of family life and its appeal to audiences of all ages.
