Jodie Sweetin

Jodie Sweetin is an actress, author, television personality, and addiction recovery advocate whose career spans nearly four decades. Sweetin began her entertainment career at age four, appearing in a commercial, and later made a guest appearance on "The Hogan Family." She was cast as Stephanie Tanner in the ABC comedy series "Full House," portraying the second-born of three sisters. Sweetin remained with the show for its entire eight-season run, earning a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress Starring in a Television Series and multiple additional nominations.

Sweetin is recognized for her role as Stephanie Tanner in both "Full House" and its Netflix sequel series "Fuller House," and is the only cast member to appear in every episode of both series. She has also starred in and executive produced "The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost" for Hallmark Channel and appeared in the Lifetime movie "Dateless to Dangerous: My Son's Secret Life." Sweetin's credits include "Hollywood Darlings," an unscripted comedy series.

In addition to her acting work, Sweetin is known for her advocacy in addiction recovery. After "Full House" concluded, she experienced a period of drug and alcohol abuse, which she has publicly discussed, including an appearance on Good Morning America. Sweetin has maintained sobriety since December 2008. She authored the memoir "unSweetined," which details her experiences with addiction, identity, and recovery, and later released an audiobook version with a new introduction.
