Jo Aggarwal is the co-founder and CEO of Wysa, an AI-powered mental health platform with 11 million users across 95 countries. Wysa offers an emotionally intelligent system that guides users through evidence-based cognitive-behavioral techniques, dialectical behavior therapy, meditation, breathing, yoga, motivational interviewing, and micro-actions. The platform is recognized for having a significant clinical evidence base among mental health apps and serves customers including Aetna International, NHS, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and the Ministry of Health in Singapore.

Before founding Wysa, Aggarwal built a career at the intersection of technology, education, and social impact. She served as managing director of Pearson Learning Solutions in the UK and was part of the founding team of Silatech, a nonprofit focused on youth empowerment in conflict zones in the Arab world. Her work on mobile employability after the Arab Spring connected over 1 million young people to skills and jobs, earning her the Silver at the Stevie Awards and the Global Telecom Business Innovation Award. The eLearning Center in the UK recognized her as one of the top three global thought leaders in education technology.

Under Aggarwal's leadership, Wysa has received institutional recognitions and clinical validations, including the AI Award from the National Health Service in the UK and Breakthrough Device Designation from the FDA in the USA. Wysa has been recognized for privacy and safety by the Mozilla Foundation and ORCHA, and is supported by multiple published clinical studies. She also received the Implementation Leadership Award for the USA from the eMental Health International Collaborative. A TED speaker and contributor to global standards-setting bodies, Aggarwal contributes to IEEE P3962, the international standard for medical mobile health application assessment.
