Jepson Taylor Biography
Jepson Taylor is an AI entrepreneur, executive, educator and speaker with more than 20 years of experience applying machine learning to complex real-world problems. Taylor is the author of the book, "The Last Commit." His career spans semiconductor manufacturing at Intel and Micron, quantitative finance, HR technology, deep learning and enterprise AI. At HireVue, Taylor led the data science organization and contributed to work resulting in 14 patents. In 2017, he co-founded the deep-learning company Zeff.ai, which was acquired by DataRobot in 2020. Taylor later held senior AI leadership roles at DataRobot and Dataiku.
Taylor is a sought-after global speaker who has presented to organizations including SpaceX, Goldman Sachs, Verizon, Aramco, Red Bull, Amazon and branches of the U.S. government. He teaches an executive AI course at New York University through the AIMasterClass.
Taylor is CEO and CTO of VEOX Inc., where he focuses on a new frontier in AI: systems that can generate high-performance algorithms and optimizers on demand, extending AI beyond human-designed machine-learning approaches.
