Jennifer Turliuk

Jennifer Turliuk is a technologist, keynote speaker, published author, climate tech investor, and entrepreneur. She is an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School. Most recently, she served as the Practice Leader for Climate and Energy AI at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship and as an MIT Sloan Fellow, where she built, researched, and taught AI for climate and energy innovation. She developed tools for the U.S. Department of Energy, MIT’s Climate & Energy Ventures course, the MIT Climate Policy Center, and Climate Interactive’s En-ROADS climate simulator.

Turliuk created and taught MIT’s AI for Energy Solutions course, which attracted over 1,000 global applicants from industry, academia, and government, including professionals from FERC, NREL, and NASA. She has delivered talks on AI for climate and energy solutions at Davos, COP29, the DOE ARPA-E Summit, TEDx, New York Climate Week, MIT, Yale and Harvard, and has been featured by UNFCCC (YOUNGO), Climate Change AI, and other global platforms.

She was a partner at Climate Capital Syndicate -- one of the most active funders of climate tech startups -- and co-creator of Climate Angels, a pioneering angel investing course that helps senior leaders at Google, unicorns, and family offices make their first climate investments.

Earlier, Turliuk co-founded and scaled MakerKids, the world’s first makerspace for kids, into a VC-backed edtech company that helped pioneer a new category of STEM education, exiting through acquisition. She began her career in marketing at Procter & Gamble. She has also served as a board member, consultant, and mentor to startups and innovation programs.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Huffington Post, NBC, FOX, CBS, Fast Company, and Wired, and she has written for Forbes, VentureBeat, and Business Insider. She has served as a board member, consultant, and mentor for entrepreneurs.

Turliuk holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, with executive training from Harvard Kennedy School and Singularity University at NASA Ames.
