Jennifer Storm Biography
Jennifer Storm is an international speaker, author, and advocate with over twenty years of experience in non-profit leadership and victim services. A survivor of addiction and trauma with more than twenty-five years in recovery, she has dedicated her career to advancing victims’ rights, working on high-profile cases involving Jerry Sandusky, Bill Cosby, Catholic clergy abuse, and thousands more.
Storm currently serves as Director of Equity & Title IX at Muhlenberg College and previously held the role of Victim Advocate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (2013–2021), where she was the first to receive bipartisan reappointment. She is the past Board President of the National Crime Victim Law Institute and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Gail Burns Smith Award for Excellence in Victim Services.
A frequent media commentator featured in outlets such as the "TODAY" show, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and TIME magazine, Storm speaks nationwide on victims’ rights, addiction, recovery, and LGBTQ+ issues. She is the author of six acclaimed books, including "Blackout Girl" and "Awakening Blackout Girl," and has developed a trauma-informed recovery curriculum based on her work.
