Jean Chatzky

Jean Chatzky is a recognized authority in personal finance, known for her extensive career in financial journalism. Chatzky began as an editorial assistant at Working Woman magazine and advanced through roles at Forbes, SmartMoney, and Money magazine. Her skill in translating complex financial topics into practical advice led to her role as financial editor of NBC's "Today" show, where she served for 25 years. Chatzky has also appeared on CNN, MSNBC, and was a recurring guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Chatzky is the author of more than a dozen books on personal finance, including "Pay It Down: From Debt to Wealth on $10 A Day," a New York Times and BusinessWeek bestseller featured on Oprah's "Debt Diet" series. Other titles include "Make Money, Not Excuses," "The Difference," "Money Rules," and "AgeProof: Living Longer Without Running Out of Money or Breaking a Hip," co-authored with Dr. Michael F. Roizen, which became a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller.
