Jason Gulya

Jason Gulya is a professor of English and media communications at Berkeley College, where he teaches courses on reading and writing, the humanities, and artificial intelligence. He holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Gulya also serves on the AI Task Force and the Faculty Senate Technology Committee at Berkeley College and has received the Faculty of the Year Award.

Gulya's academic background is rooted in classical literature, specializing in 17th- and 18th-century British literature and the history of allegory. His book, "Allegory in Enlightenment Britain: Literary Abominations," was published by Palgrave Macmillan. Gulya operates Jason Gulya Consulting, providing consulting and keynote services to educators, students, and administrators on leveraging AI in higher education. He has presented at numerous conferences and colleges on generative AI, higher education, academic integrity, and the future of writing and communication.
