Jasmin Savoy Brown

Jasmin Savoy Brown is an actress and singer best known for her captivating performances in both television and film. Born in Alameda, California, and raised in Springfield, Oregon, Brown launched her professional acting career in 2013, quickly gaining recognition for her versatility and magnetic on-screen presence.

Brown’s breakout role came as Evangeline "Evie" Murphy in the HBO drama series "The Leftovers," where her nuanced performance won her widespread praise. She further cemented her reputation as a rising star with her portrayal of Taissa Turner in Showtime's "Yellowjackets," a dark psychological thriller that has earned a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim. Brown has also appeared on the big screen, notably playing the lead role in the slasher film "Sound of Violence" and starring as Mindy Meeks-Martin, the first openly-queer character in the popular "Scream" horror franchise, in 2022's "Scream" and 2023's "Scream VI." She also provided the voice and motion capture for Phin Mason / Tinkerer in the video game "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" and released her debut EP The Song of the Marked in 2020.
