Jared Anderson

Jared Anderson is a Christian songwriter, worship leader, and recording artist recognized for his contributions to contemporary worship music. Anderson began his career as a worship leader at New Life Church and was a founding member of Desperation Band, a group that introduced a new sound to the modern worship movement. Drawing on a classical piano background and years of practice, Anderson developed his craft into a public ministry with New Life Church and beyond.

Anderson's songs, including "Glorified," "Amazed," "Rescue," and "Great I Am," are widely sung in churches internationally and have been translated into multiple languages. His EP "Where I Am Right Now" features both new material and songs popularized by other Christian artists, such as "Almighty," recorded by Chris Tomlin.

Anderson has released four solo albums with Integrity Music: "Where to Begin," "Where Faith Comes From," "LIVE From My Church," and "The Narrow Road." The album "The Narrow Road" was inspired in part by John Bunyan's allegorical work. Anderson later released "The Whole Landscape," a five-song meditation EP focused on themes of healing and restoration.

In addition to recording, Anderson produces inspirational albums featuring piano-driven, folk-rock songs that explore topics such as love, literature, and life's significant questions. He continues to serve as a worship team member at New Life Church and leads worship at churches and conferences nationwide. After visiting South Africa, Anderson was inspired to support the Down syndrome and special needs community by creating a variety show, initially called "15th of December" and later renamed "Christmas This Year," to provide children with Down syndrome an opportunity to perform on stage. Anderson is known for his theological depth and ability to craft worship songs that resonate across cultures within the Christian music industry.
