Jamie Lee Curtis is an actress, producer, and children's author whose career spans more than four decades across film, television, and publishing. Curtis is recognized for her performances in the horror and slasher genres as well as in comedies, and is often referred to as a scream queen. She made her film debut as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's horror film "Halloween," a role that established her prominence in the genre. Her work outside of horror includes roles in comedies such as "Trading Places," "True Lies," and "Everything Everywhere All at Once," earning her BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Academy Award honors. Her films have grossed billions at the box office.

Curtis has demonstrated versatility across genres and generations. She starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in the Disney film "Freaky Friday," about a mother and daughter who switch bodies, which achieved commercial success.
