James Beck

James Beck is a TEDx speaker, author, relationship-building expert, and culture change leader known for his work on kindness, service, and human connection. With a background in neuroscience, Beck developed the concept of Proactive Mental Rewiring, which explores how selfless acts of service can create new neural pathways, calm the mind, and reshape behavior. To test this theory, Beck gave away his possessions and conducted a nationwide social experiment, serving one person or family in each of the 50 U.S. states for three days at no charge, encouraging recipients to pay it forward.

During his "Serf Bliss" journey, Beck began each stop by asking, "How can I help you?" and examined the impact of living in a constant state of giving. His keynote, "Live By Giving," highlights how acts of kindness can spark a domino effect of generosity within communities.
