JLove Calderon

JLove Calderon is a social entrepreneur, activist, author, producer, and director of film and TV who has dedicated over 25 years to justice activism. Her work spans across issues of social justice, race, and gender. Her short films, including "From Gangs to Gardens" and "Asia One: Expect the Unexpected", have premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival and maintain a global audience winning numerous awards. Additionally, she has co-produced the feature film "11:55 Holyoke", and a film about her life story, "That White Girl", which has been optioned for film.

Calderon is the author of "That White Girl", co-editor of several anthologies about race and equity, and has authored and co-edited five books in total. "Conscious Women" was nomi­nated for a NAACP Image Award and "Occupying Privilege" won the social change category of the National Indie Excellence Awards. Anticipated in 2024, Calderon is set to release her feature documentary "White in America".

As the Co-Founder & CEO of Inspire Justice and Inspire Justice Productions, Calderon coaches and trains celebrities, as well as entertainment and lifestyle companies with her self-created INSPIRE – Social Impact Empowerment Coaching ™ model. Calderon, a professional coach certified by Gail Straub and the Empowerment Institute, combines social impact and transformational development toward collective liberation in her coaching partnerships with the Inspire Justice team. She is also a founding and managing partner of BWA Studios, and a dedicated member of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ).
