Iman Abuzeid

Dr. Iman Abuzeid is a Sudanese-American physician and entrepreneur recognized for her work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and workforce innovation. Abuzeid earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from University College London before moving to the United States, where she completed an MBA at the Wharton School and worked at McKinsey & Company. Her experience includes product management at health technology startups and healthcare management consulting.

Abuzeid co-founded Incredible Health with Rome Portlock after identifying a disconnect in the healthcare labor market: physicians reported chronic understaffing, while nurses faced challenges finding suitable positions. Incredible Health addresses this issue by reversing the traditional hiring process—healthcare employers apply to nurses, and the platform uses artificial intelligence to match nurses with roles that align with their experience, preferences, and location. Abuzeid serves as co-founder and CEO of Incredible Health, an AI-driven healthcare career marketplace utilized by more than 1 million U.S. healthcare workers and 1,500 healthcare employers. The platform features AI voice agents Gale and Lyn to streamline hiring and workforce management.

Incredible Health, valued at $1.65 billion and supported by $100 million in venture capital, enables hospitals to hire nurses in less than 20 days, compared to the national average of 90 days, and saves hospitals an average of $2 million annually. Abuzeid is among a small group of Black female founders leading a company valued at over $1 billion.

Abuzeid's leadership has been recognized by TIME on the TIME100 NEXT list as an Innovator, and she has been featured in Inc.'s "Female Founders 200" and Forbes' "America's Richest Self-Made Women."
