Honesty Liller

Honesty Liller is a certified peer recovery specialist in Virginia and a nationally recognized leader in substance use recovery and peer-to-peer support. In long-term recovery since May 27, 2007, Liller brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. A bestselling author of "Scattered Pink - A Diary of a Woman in Recovery," Liller is also a SHE RECOVERS professional who facilitates a monthly support group for women and nonbinary individuals, creating safe and empowering spaces for healing and connection.

In 2025, Liller founded Honesty Liller Coaching LLC, where she provides transformational and leadership coaching to women, helping them build confidence, step into their purpose and lead authentically. She has been featured on national media outlets, including "Face the Nation," Fox News, CNN and PBS, where she speaks on addiction and recovery in America.

Liller completed Stanford University's Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders and has received numerous honors, including the 2015 Vernon Johnson Award and the 2019 Jean C. Harris Community Service Board Award. She was recognized as one of Richmond's Remarkable Women by WRIC Channel 8 News. Liller is chief executive officer of The McShin Foundation, a nationally accredited recovery community organization that supports individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders.
