Hira Ali

Hira Ali is a London-based executive leadership coach, diversity and inclusion thought leader, and award-winning author whose career centers on empowering individuals, particularly women and ethnic minorities, to achieve their professional goals. As the founder of Advancing Your Potential, Ali advocates for allyship programs and inclusive talent management initiatives. She has launched businesses in Dubai and London and is the founder of four organizations focused on supporting women and ethnic minorities: Advancing Your Potential, Career Excel, The Grey Area, and International Women Empowerment Events.

Ali is the author of two books: "Her Way to the Top: A Guide to Smashing the Glass Ceiling" and "Her Allies: A Practical Toolkit to Help Men Lead Through Advocacy." In "Her Way to the Top," she examines challenges women face in the workplace, drawing on her coaching experience and survey responses from working women to explore internal and external barriers such as FOMO, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and sexual harassment. "Her Allies" encourages men to participate in the gender equality movement. Both books have received recognition from global thought leaders and practitioners in leadership development, diversity, and inclusion.

Ali holds the Professional Certified Coach accreditation from the International Coach Federation, an Inter-cultural Communication for Global Business Certification from Cambridge University, and is a professional member of the Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She has trained and coached hundreds of professionals from diverse backgrounds across various industries, consistently receiving high ratings for her work. Her self-development podcast, "8 Minutes of Learning with Hira Ali," has been featured in Huff Post among the top 100 rising podcasts accepting guests.
