Heidi Connal

Heidi Connal is an executive coach, emotional intelligence expert, and leadership developer whose career spans three decades at the intersection of business growth and human potential. Connal has held senior leadership roles at Salesforce, Bank of America, American Express, PwC, and the United Nations, where she built global teams that navigated hyper-growth, mergers and acquisitions, and digital transformation. While driving organizational performance, she identified her greatest impact in empowering others to lead with clarity, confidence, and authenticity, which led her to focus on executive coaching.

Connal specializes in transformational coaching for C-suite and senior executives, guiding them to enhance communication, relationship management, talent leadership, and personal brand awareness. With expertise in emotional intelligence and neuroscience, she combines empathetic listening with direct coaching to help clients identify their strengths and development areas. Drawing on her business experience and knowledge of neuroscience and psychology, Connal fosters collaboration that supports leaders in achieving authentic and sustainable success.

Connal has coached leaders across more than 20 industries, including technology, finance, and the military, working with organizations such as the US Navy, LinkedIn, Roblox, McCarthy, Paul Hastings, TIAA, Wells Fargo, HP, Experian, Genentech, Wachtell Lipton, Petco, and WindRiver. In keynote presentations, she addresses topics in neuroscience, behavioral psychology, mindfulness, and coaching techniques, providing audiences with tools to foster positivity, self-compassion, and purpose. She has served as a speaker and facilitator at events including a fireside chat with Margot Lee Shetterly for the UVA Centennial Speaker Series, a Career Epiphanies Workshop with the McIntire Ivy Society, a session on "Bouncing Back in Times of Stress and Change," and as a panel facilitator on innovative technology and the fight against AIDS and HIV.

Connal holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. She is a Berkeley-certified executive coach, a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, a National Board–Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and is credentialed in a range of 360-degree, personality, and team assessments, including Hogan, CCL, EQ-i, ISI, and W5BP. Connal is recognized for her expertise in team dynamics, emotional intelligence, and executive relationships, supporting healthier and more effective leadership within technology, financial services, marketing, and nonprofit sectors.
