Hannah Berner

Hannah Berner is a stand-up comedian, podcast host, author, and television personality known for her work in comedy, digital media, and reality television. Berner played collegiate tennis at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she earned Team MVP honors and Academic All-Big Ten recognition. After graduation, she transitioned from a potential professional tennis career to content creation, working as a video producer, writer, and performer at Betches. Berner gained recognition by directing, editing, and acting in videos on Instagram and writing viral tweets, which helped her build a substantial online following before her national television debut.

Berner appeared on seasons three through five of Bravo's "Summer House." Her experience on the show influenced her move into stand-up comedy. She later released the Netflix stand-up comedy special "We Ride at Dawn," which premiered at number two on the Netflix charts. Berner followed with a second special, "Hannah Berner: None of My Business," which premiered on Hulu and Disney Plus and reached number one in movies on Hulu.

Berner hosts two podcasts: "Giggly Squad," co-hosted with Paige DeSorbo, and "Berner Phone" with her husband. These podcasts have achieved over 100 million combined downloads. Alongside DeSorbo, Berner headlined two sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall. The duo also authored the book "How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously," which became a New York Times bestseller. "Giggly Squad" received Podcast of the Year at the iHeart Podcast Awards.

Berner's TikTok series "Han on the Street" has earned over 350 million views, expanding her influence in digital media and social platforms. In 2026, she was announced as the host of Paramount+'s new dating reality series "Making Love." She is recognized as a fixture in the New York City comedy scene and has been named to Variety's Top 10 Comics to Watch, TIME's Creators list, The Hollywood Reporter Creators Power List, and Variety's New Power of New York List. Berner was also selected as one of JFL's New Faces of Comedy at the Just For Laughs Festival.
