HNTR is a Toronto-based DJ, producer, and label founder known for his dark, high-energy fusion of techno and house music. Before fully embracing the HNTR moniker, he was also known for crossover dance releases under his given name, Hunter Siegel, but the HNTR project allowed him to explore a deeper and more underground sonic identity rooted in techno and warehouse culture.

Through No Neon, he has championed emerging artists and curated events that helped introduce acts such as REZZ, JOYRYDE, and Matroda to Toronto audiences early in their careers. His work as both a performer and tastemaker earned him a Juno Awards win in 2022 for Underground Dance Music, making him one of the standout figures in Canada’s evolving electronic landscape.

HNTR’s profile expanded internationally through releases on labels including mau5trap, Factory 93, and his own No Neon imprint. Tracks such as “Shadows in the Dark,” “Better Off Leaving,” and the viral techno anthem “Yes B!tch” — a collaboration with Danny Avila, Sam WOLFE, and Rome Fortune — helped cement his reputation for blending aggressive club energy with hip-hop influences and melodic textures.
