Guerdy Abraira

Guerdy Abraira is a Haitian-American luxury event planner, entrepreneur, television personality, and author known for her work in wedding design and event production. Abraira began her career in the hospitality industry, starting as a caterer on Fisher Island, where she developed expertise in event planning and built a diverse client base. This experience led to the founding of Guerdy Design, a full-service firm specializing in luxury weddings and corporate events.

Abraira owned and operated an events and floral studio on Fisher Island for several years, planning and designing events for international clients. After expanding her reach beyond Florida, she focused on destination weddings, establishing Guerdy Design as a global operation. The company has been recognized as one of the top event-planning firms in Florida and has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Martha Stewart Weddings. Abraira has received recognition as one of Harper's Bazaar's Top Planners in the World and has been included on Vogue's list of Best Wedding Planners across the U.S. and Canada. She has also appeared on the cover of The Knot for the magazine's celebration issue.

Abraira gained national attention as a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Miami," joining the show in its fourth season and continuing through subsequent seasons. She has also appeared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," "Adriana De Moura: Fyah," "Holiday Crafters Gone Wild," and "Celebrity Page." In addition to her television work, Abraira has modeled for several magazine covers and served as a global ambassador for fashion brands.

Abraira publicly shared her experience with stage 1B estrogen-positive breast cancer, undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and a hysterectomy. This experience led her to advocate for women's wellness, including collaborating with Addyi, an FDA-approved medication for women's sexual health. She is also involved with SurviveHER, a nonprofit focused on breast cancer awareness, education, and support.

Abraira is the author of the memoir "From Trauma to Trophies," which explores overcoming adversity and personal transformation. She is a partner in Ring My Belle, an on-demand beauty service, and Miami Alkaline Water, a company focused on water quality innovation. Abraira's career spans luxury event planning, television, advocacy, and entrepreneurship, making her a recognized figure in the event planning and lifestyle industries.
