Graham Elliot is a chef, restaurateur, TV personality, and cookbook author whose career spans Michelin-starred kitchens, prime-time television, and major cultural events. At age 27, Elliot became the youngest four-star chef to be named in any major U.S. city and was recognized by Food & Wine Magazine as one of its Best New Chefs. His fine dining work at Avenues at the Peninsula Hotel earned him three James Beard nominations. Elliot opened his eponymous restaurant, Graham Elliot, which became one of only a select number of restaurants in the United States to be awarded two Michelin stars. He was also named to Crain's Chicago Business 40 Under Forty list, which included figures such as Oprah Winfrey and President Barack Obama, for whom Elliot cooked on the president's 49th birthday.
Elliot's television career includes appearances as a contestant on "Iron Chef" and "Top Chef Masters," and as a judge on the first six seasons of the American "MasterChef" and its spinoff, "MasterChef Junior." After his tenure with the "MasterChef" franchise, Elliot joined Bravo's Emmy Award-winning cooking competition "Top Chef" as a full-time judge. He also hosted Bravo's digital series "Going Off the Menu" and appeared on ABC's "Family Food Fight" alongside Ayesha Curry and Cat Cora. Elliot is the author of the cookbook "Cooking Like a Master Chef: 100 Recipes to Make the Everyday Extraordinary."
Beyond television, Elliot has served as Culinary Director at Lollapalooza, a major music festival in Chicago, where he has cooked for both the public and performers. Major League Baseball selected him to host the MLB Grub Tour and serve as its Culinary Correspondent. Elliot was named Chef of the Year and inducted into the Chicago Chefs Hall of Fame. He is an active member of the community, serving on the board of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and is involved with organizations such as Share Our Strength, the American Heart Association, and Smile Train.
Elliot has contributed to the North Texas dining scene as part of Fort Worth-based Far Out Hospitality, overseeing the culinary department and menu development for all company restaurants. He is known for his work at Le Margot in Fort Worth, recognized as one of the best new restaurants in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine. Elliot's career in fine dining, television, and culinary innovation continues to influence the American food industry.
