Giovannie & The Hired Guns

Giovannie and the Hired Guns, a country rock band formed in 2017, is headed by lead vocalist and songwriter Giovannie Yanez. The band, including members Carlos Villa, Jerrod Flusche, Alex Trejo, and Milton Toles, has made a name for itself with a unique blend of traditional country and rock and roll influences. Over the years, they have released several studio albums, including "Bad Habits", "Giovannie and the Hired Guns", "Tejano Punk Boys", "Tejano Punk Boyz Live", and "Quitter".

The band's musical prowess was acknowledged when they received the iHeartRadio award for "Best New Rock & Alternative Artist of the Year" in 2023. Their song "Ramon Ayala" not only gained popularity but also achieved significant chart success. It reached number 1 on the US Rock Airplay chart, number 2 on the Mainstream Rock chart, and number 3 on the Alternative Songs chart. Other notable singles include "Overrated" and "Quitter", which also charted on various Billboard rock charts. They have performed at major festivals and arenas across the country, even opening for country superstar Jason Aldean at Globe Life Field before an audience of 36,000.

Giovannie Yanez deliberately assembled a lineup with eclectic musical sensibilities, resulting in a sound that blends elements of alt-metal, Red Dirt country, Latin pop, Americana, and more. Their most recent album, "Quitter", was produced by Johnny K and recorded at Sonic Ranch.
