Gilberto Tomazoni embarked on his professional journey in the food industry with a remarkable tenure at Sadia, where he dedicated 27 years of his career and climbed his way up to the role of CEO. His leadership skills and industry expertise were further refined during his tenure as Vice President of Bunge Alimentos, where he oversaw the food and ingredients business. His strategic direction and operational efficiency led him to JBS, where he initially served as the Global President of the Poultry Business and played a key role in the formation of Seara Alimentos.
Tomazoni's leadership trajectory continued to ascend as he transitioned into the role of Global Operations President of JBS in 2015. Two years later, he was appointed as the Global Chief Operating Officer of JBS, a testament to his ability to lead and manage global operations effectively. His strategic and operational acumen culminated in his appointment as the Global CEO of JBS in December 2018, a role he continues to hold today.
Alongside his executive roles, Tomazoni has been the Chairman of the Board of Pilgrim´s Pride Corporation since 2013. Additionally, he lends his extensive experience and strategic expertise as a member of the International Advisory Board of Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
