Gezim Gashi

Gezim Gashi is an entrepreneur, author, keynote speaker, producer, educator, and mentor whose life story reflects resilience and adaptability. Born in Kosovo during a period of conflict, Gashi and his family escaped and later immigrated to Sweden. Growing up as an immigrant, he faced discrimination and bullying, experiences that influenced his passion for music and education and shaped his professional pursuits.

Before relocating to the United States, Gashi established a career in the entertainment industry, producing television content in Sweden and Scandinavia. He graduated from the Film Academy in Sweden and interned at TV4. Gashi produced content for Swedish TV channels such as SVT and TV4, and contributed as a producer to reality shows including "Music Academy," "The Club," and "Soy Luna" on Disney Channel in Scandinavia. He also mentored emerging talent at the Academy of Music and Business, supporting the development of new voices in music and entertainment.

Gashi's entrepreneurial work expanded in the United States, where he became the first Albanian-Swede to launch a high school institute, partnering with Oaks Christian School to develop the OCS Institute of Arts and Innovation in Los Angeles. He also serves as a partner of the Institute of Global Leadership and Institute of Engineering at Oaks Christian School. His marketing company has partnered with organizations such as the Walt Disney Company and Quincy Jones Productions. Gashi's contributions to music, entertainment, and education have been recognized by Forbes magazine. He has also mentored students through the Emmys' Bob Bennett Leadership Program.

Gashi is the keynote speaker and author of "Unlocked: The Power of You." The book draws on his journey from escaping conflict in Kosovo to establishing educational institutions, offering insights on overcoming adversity. In the book, Gashi discusses five core attributes—creativity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and collaboration—and explores how these qualities can help individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals. "Unlocked: The Power of You" has been recognized as an international bestseller by Harvard University, Yale University, NBC News, and the New York Post.

As a speaker, Gashi delivers keynote addresses at institutions including Harvard and Yale Universities, focusing on topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, personal branding, art, education, and storytelling.
