Francesco Stipo

Dr. Francesco Stipo is a lawyer, author, and expert in energy, geopolitics, and global governance. He fluently speaks 5 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French).

After earning a doctorate in international law, Stipo moved to the United States and obtained a master's degree in comparative law from the University of Miami. He has worked as a lawyer specializing in international business transactions and as an international legal advisor focused on energy transactions and company acquisitions. Stipo has assisted European companies in negotiating sale and purchase agreements with American LNG suppliers and has provided counsel on investments in U.S. liquefaction plants.

Stipo serves as president and CEO of the Houston Energy Club, a public policy group dedicated to oil, gas, and renewable energy. He founded the Houston Energy Club to connect Houston with other global energy centers and to facilitate engagement between foreign government officials, executives, and the Houston energy community. The club provides members with information on world energy issues and opportunities to network with foreign dignitaries, featuring speakers such as government officials, heads of international organizations, and executives from domestic and foreign energy corporations.
