Flynn Cochran

Flynn Cochran is a leadership expert and former U.S. Navy SEAL officer known for translating military principles into actionable strategies for business and organizational success. He is senior vice president of operations and training at Groundworks, a construction company dedicated to building safer, more secure foundations for buildings in the United States.

After serving eight years in the Navy—six of those with the SEAL Teams, including roles as assistant platoon commander and platoon commander at SEAL Team ONE—Cochran transitioned to the corporate sector, where he became an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Cochran's public speaking engagements at major conferences draw on his blend of military experience and business acumen, establishing him as an authority on leadership under pressure.

He formerly served as chief strategy officer at Echelon Front, a leadership consultancy founded by fellow SEALs Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. In this role, he worked with clients across industries to build high-performing teams and instill the principles of "Extreme Ownership," a philosophy he experienced in the SEAL Teams and now teaches through keynote speeches, workshops, and executive coaching.
