Eva Zlotnicka

Eva Zlotnicka is a sustainable investment executive with a career focused on guiding investors and management teams toward long-term value creation in a sustainable and profitable economy. Zlotnicka’s experience spans the academic, public, and nonprofit sectors, as well as more than a decade on Wall Street, where her responsibilities included fixed income strategy, portable alpha portfolio management, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) research. She holds an MBA from Yale School of Management, a Master of Environmental Science in Environmental Economics from Yale School of the Environment, a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Management and Global Analysis from the Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Zlotnicka’s Wall Street tenure provided a foundation for her work as an impact investor. She served as an ESG and global sustainability equity research analyst for UBS Investment Bank and later as an ESG equity research analyst and U.S. lead for the sustainability research team at Morgan Stanley. During her time at Morgan Stanley, the Global Sustainability Research team earned top rankings in Sustainable and Responsible Investment Research by the Extel IRRI survey, and Zlotnicka was recognized for her understanding of companies as voted by corporate participants. She later joined the buy side as managing director of the ValueAct Spring Fund and head of stewardship at ValueAct Capital, where she identified companies addressing environmental and social challenges through technology and innovation.

Zlotnicka founded Inclusive Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based investment firm partnering with companies that provide solutions to environmental and social issues. She served as president of Inclusive Capital Partners from its founding through December 2023. Zlotnicka serves as board director of Unifi, Inc., a fiber innovator and manufacturer, as an operating partner at Pana LCE, a growth equity investment platform, and as a venture partner at Bay Bridge Ventures, a climate tech venture capital firm. She also serves on the board of directors of Enviva Inc., a public company producing sustainable wood pellets as an alternative energy source.

In addition to her investment roles, Zlotnicka has contributed to community building and governance. She co-founded WISE (Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy), a global professional community, and has served on the board of Sustainable Ocean Alliance, a nonprofit focused on ocean health. Zlotnicka has also been a member of the Investor Advisory Group for the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, the advisory board of the Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance at NYU Law, and the International Sustainability Standards Board. With expertise in sell-side research, active ownership, venture capital, and nonprofit governance, Zlotnicka offers a multidimensional perspective at the intersection of finance and sustainability.
