Eva Shockey

Eva Shockey is a Canadian television personality, author, bowhunter, and wildlife conservation advocate recognized in the outdoor industry. Raised by professional hunter and television personality Jim Shockey, Eva Shockey was introduced to the outdoors and television at an early age. Before pursuing a career in hunting and outdoor media, she worked as a dance instructor and competitive Latin ballroom dancer. Shockey attended Bond University in Australia, earning a degree in business marketing, and later returned to focus on outdoor pursuits and wildlife conservation.

Shockey is known as co-host of the Outdoor Channel series "Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures" with her father, Jim Shockey. She also co-hosted the Outdoor Channel shows "The Professionals" and "Uncharted." Her work includes hosting TV specials and red carpet events for Outdoor Channel, as well as leading the Facebook Watch digital series "Eva Shockey's Outdoor 101," which follows her family's outdoor experiences in North Carolina and highlights outdoor skills and destinations.

Shockey's influence in the hunting and outdoor community includes appearing on the cover of Field & Stream magazine as the second woman ever featured, following Queen Elizabeth II. ABC News has described Shockey as a prominent figure in the next generation of hunters. She has been listed on The Hollywood Reporter Top TV Personalities list and recognized by Forbes for her impact on outdoor lifestyle branding.

Shockey authored the memoir "Taking Aim: Daring to Be Different, Happier, and Healthier in the Great Outdoors," which explores her experiences challenging gender stereotypes in hunting, promoting field-to-table practices, physical fitness, and the conservation benefits of regulated hunting. She has also collaborated with Bowtech Archery to release signature compound bows, including the BowTech Eva Shockey Signature Series Compound Bow and a Mossy Oak Break-Up Country edition.

A supporter of wildlife conservation, Shockey advocates for the role of hunters in conservation efforts. She and Jim Shockey have served as honorary co-chairs for National Hunting & Fishing Day. Shockey's work has contributed to increased visibility for women in the outdoor industry, encouraging participation in hunting, outdoor recreation, and conservation.
