Erika Soto Lamb

Erika Soto Lamb is vice president of social impact strategy at Paramount Media Networks, where she oversees multi-platform campaigns for SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios and other Paramount brands. Lamb has developed initiatives that engage youth audiences on issues such as civic participation and mental health. She is a co-founder of Power the Polls, a national campaign to recruit poll workers, and a founder of Mental Health Action Day, reflecting her work in democracy and well-being.

Lamb's career includes roles as the founding head of social impact strategy at Comedy Central and as the founding chief communications officer at Everytown for Gun Safety. Following the Sandy Hook tragedy, Lamb contributed to building the nation’s largest gun violence prevention organization, which includes Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and Mayors Against Illegal Guns. She has provided strategic communications counsel to political candidates, advocacy groups, and international clients through global public relations firms. Lamb serves on advisory boards for organizations such as Civic Alliance and Project Unloaded.

Lamb is a public speaker and frequently appears at conferences and academic forums, sharing insights on media, culture, and social change. Her expertise is recognized through her board service and advocacy for representation of women and people of color in leadership. Lamb holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Stanford University and a Master of Science in strategic communications from Columbia University, supporting her work in storytelling, civic engagement, and social impact strategy.
