
Elliot Page is a Canadian actor, producer, and activist with a career spanning more than two decades in film and television. Page began his career at age 10 on the award-winning television series "Pit Pony," earning a Gemini nomination and a Young Artist Award nomination. As the lead in David Slade's "Hard Candy," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Page received critical recognition. He also gained early attention for portraying Kitty Pryde in "X-Men: The Last Stand."
Page's breakout role came in Jason Reitman's comedy "Juno," about a teenager navigating an unexpected pregnancy. Netflix adapted "The Umbrella Academy" to reflect Page's transition, with his character's name changing from Vanya to Viktor. Page also hosted the documentary series "Gaycation" alongside Ian Daniel, earning two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Other notable roles include appearances in the X-Men film franchise and Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey."
Page publicly came out as a trans man and took the name Elliot, becoming the first openly transgender man to appear on the cover of Time Magazine. He published "Pageboy: A Memoir," which debuted at the top of The New York Times best-seller list for nonfiction.
