Ella Bright

Ella Bright is an American-born British actress known for her work in television, film, and theater. Bright made her television debut in an episode of the TNT crime drama "Legends." She later appeared on the West End in "The Cursed Child" at the Palace Theatre, where she played Lily Luna Potter in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." In the film industry, Bright portrayed Bridgette in "Holmes & Watson," a Columbia Pictures production featuring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Bright gained recognition for her lead role as Darrell Rivers in the CBBC adaptation of Enid Blyton's "Malory Towers." The series, set in post-World War II England at an all-girls boarding school, featured Bright from age 12 through 18. She appeared in more than 90 episodes across several seasons, and the show became one of CBBC's most successful family dramas. For her performance, Bright received nominations for the British Academy Children's Award for Young Performer and Outstanding Lead Performer at the Children's and Family Emmy Awards. Following the release of "Off Campus," Bright's portrayal of Hannah Wells, adapted from Elle Kennedy's books, drew significant attention from media and fans.

After her time on "Malory Towers," Bright considered focusing on her A-level exams and college but chose to audition for a few projects, including the Prime Video romance series "Off Campus." In the first season of "Off Campus," Bright stars as a singer-songwriter who enters a fake relationship with hockey captain Garrett Graham, played by Belmont Cameli. During production, Bright worked with a vocal coach and learned piano and guitar alongside co-star Josh Heuston, ensuring authenticity in their musical performances.
