Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku Palandjian is a therapist, mental-health advocate, and trauma-informed practitioner whose work is rooted in healing, empowerment, and integrative approaches to recovery. Before dedicating herself to clinical practice, Dushku spent more than two decades in the entertainment industry. She began acting as a child and went on to earn recognition for her roles in projects such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bring It On, and Dollhouse. Her years in Hollywood gave her a unique understanding of public pressure, personal vulnerability, and the many unseen struggles people carry — insights that now enrich her therapeutic work.

Dushku eventually stepped away from acting to focus on her true calling: supporting others on their healing journeys. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, specializing in trauma treatment and holistic, client-centered care. She is trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy, a modality that played a significant role in her own healing and now helps guide her work with individuals facing PTSD, addiction, and complex trauma.

Informed by her lived experience as a survivor, Dushku approaches therapy with deep compassion and a profound respect for human resilience. Beyond her clinical practice, she is an advocate for mental-health access, survivor justice, and the responsible advancement of psychedelic medicine. Through speaking, writing, and philanthropic initiatives, she works to expand understanding and access to transformative forms of care.

Dushku’s journey from actress to therapist reflects a commitment to authenticity, courage, and meaningful service. Today, she uses her voice and training to create spaces where others can reclaim their stories, rebuild their strength, and discover what healing can make possible.
