Elisa Donovan

Elisa Donovan is an American actress, writer, and producer recognized for her contributions to '90s pop culture and television. Donovan is widely known for her role as Amber, Cher's chief fashion rival, in Amy Heckerling's comedy "Clueless" and its spin-off TV series. Her portrayal of the fashion-obsessed rival to Alicia Silverstone's Cher Horowitz brought her significant recognition. Before her Hollywood breakthrough, Donovan appeared on the New York-based soap Loving after relocating to Manhattan and worked off-Broadway in plays including "Safe" and "Mad Love." She later secured a recurring role on the NBC sitcom "Blossom," playing Tanya, the girlfriend of Joey Lawrence's character.

Following "Clueless," Donovan expanded her television career with roles in "Beverly Hills, 90210" as Ginger LaMonica and reprised her role of Amber for three seasons on the "Clueless" television series.
